If so, join us for some tea, treats and good, old-fashioned love in the afternoon PLUS a Jane Austen-inspired marketplace!
We’ll be kicking off our new High Tea Cinema series with a screening of Ang Lee’s SENSE AND SENSIBILITY. Emma Thompson won an Academy Award for her screenplay adaptation of one of Jane Austen’s most beloved novels.
Featuring dazzling performances from Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, and a whole host of quirky British character actors, the film follows the lives and loves of the Dashwood sisters as they navigate a world rife with clandestine engagements, devilishly handsome scoundrels and heartbreaking circumstances that challenge their devotion to one another.
Our marketplace will include local historical romance authors and other Jane Austen-inspired merchandise. Doors open at 1:30pm – come early and stock up on some regency-era romance to take home with you!
Each ticket includes a cup of tea and a scone!
