Named for just one of the many surprising dishes that René Redzepi serves at his esteemed Copenhagen foodie destination Noma (named "World's Best Restaurant" in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014), Ants on a Shrimpfollows the superstar chef and his team as they relocate to Japan to set up a five-week pop-up in Tokyo. But creating an all-new, fourteen-course menu foraged from local sources in an unfamiliar country presents unforeseen challenges-and may be a make-or-break moment for the risk-taking Redzepi's career. "By the Time It Gets Dark" tells the interwoven stories of several characters; a film director and her muse who was a student activist in 1970s, a waitress who keeps changing jobs, an actor, and an actress. Their lives are loosely connected by almost invisible threads. The narrative sheds its skin several times in the course of the film to reveal layer upon layer of the complexities that make up our lives.

ความคิดถึงของผู้ชายคนหนึ่ง นอนนิ่งอยู่ในซองจดหมายสิบฉบับที่ไม่เคยถูกเปิดอ่าน มันถูกส่งถึงผู้หญิงที่เขาเคยรัก เดินทางจากประเทศพม่าสู่ประเทศไทย และถูกซุกซ่อนไว้ลึกที่สุด จวบจนเวลาผ่านไปถึงครึ่งศตวรรษ

เมื่อ "ปิ่น" ค้นพบจดหมายสิบฉบับจากพินัยกรรมของย่า ทำให้เธอตัดสินใจออกเดินทางไปยังประเทศพม่า เพื่อนำจดหมายเหล่านี้ไปเปิดอ่าน ณ ที่ที่มันถูกเขียนขึ้น ระหว่างการเดินทางปิ่นได้ร้องขอ “โมนาย” หนุ่มพม่าที่คุณย่าเขียนถึงในพินัยกรรม เป็นผู้นำทางเธอไปยังสถานที่บนจดหมายนั้น

ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยที่นักเขียนระดับแนวหน้า รวมใจลงแขกกับนักทำหนังสั้นแบบไม่เกรงใจสูตรคร่ำครึ ปฏิวัติการดัดแปลงวรรณกรรมรูปแบบใหม่ ให้เป็นการด้นเกมแห่งเสียงอักษรไหลสุดขอบจินตนาการภาพ ด้วยโจทย์ต้นเรื่องของนักเขียนที่จุดประกายให้คนทำหนังสั้น 4 คน ต่อ-แต่งเรื่องเล่าตามใจชอบ จนเกิดเป็นภาพยนตร์ขนาดยาวภายใต้โครงการ Domino Film Experiment สำหรับภาพยนตร์เรื่องแรกในโครงการนี้ จะเป็นการนำบทภาพยนตร์ดั้งเดิมของ แดนอรัญ แสงทอง เรื่อง “ความเศร้าของภูตผี” มาตีความและแต่งเติมใหม่ จนได้เป็นภาพยนตร์ขนาดยาวในชื่อเดียวกัน

For the first time in Thailand, an award-winning, highly respected writer fearlessly joins in an experimental project with short film makers. To revolt against obsolescence of literary-filmic convention, the project transforms into joyous improvisation of literature and cinema, fabricating complex interplay of words and visual and sound signs. Inspired by a short story written by the writer, 4 short film makers further the original story into unknown territory, push it to the extreme imaginable, eventually resulting in a feature-length film under Domino Film Experiment Project. The first film in the project is based on the short story by Dan-arun Saengthong, “The Melancholy of the Spirit”.

ในเมืองเล็กๆเมืองนึงในประเทศฝรั่งเศษ François (Jacques Tati) บุรุษไปรษณีย์ผู้ซึ่งมัลักษณะเหมือนคนสมาธิสั้นและไม่ค่อยจะเต็ม ชีวิตประจำวันของเค้าคือการส่งจดหมาย ในขณะที่ชาวเมืองต่างมองว่าเค้าเป็นตัวตลกและชอบล้อเลียนเค้าอยู่เสมอ

วันนึงได้มีเทศกาลจัดขึ้นในเมือง และ François ได้มีโอกาสเข้าชมภาพยนตร์ที่มีเนื้อเรื่องเกี่ยวกับระบบการทำงานของไปรษณีย์ภายในประเทศอเมริกา หลังจากที่เขาได้ชมภาพยนตร์จนจบก็เกิดเป็นแรงบันดาลใจที่ทำให้ François ลุกขึ้นมาฮึดและขี่จักรยานมุ่งหน้าไปเพื่อที่จะพัฒนาตัของเค้าให้เป็นอย่างบุรุษไปรษณย์ที่เค้าได้ชมจากภาพยนตร์

In a small French town, the local postman, scatterbrained and bumbling François (Jacques Tati), spends his working hours casually delivering the mail, while being the subject of the townsfolk's teasing. When a traveling carnival arrives in town, a drunken François is goaded into watching a film depicting the efficiency of the U.S. Postal Service. Inspired by the footage, the hapless François sets out on his bicycle to become just like the mail carriers in the United States.

สันติ-วีณา เป็นภาพยนตร์ไทย ที่สำคัญที่สุดเรื่องหนึ่งในประวัติศาสตร์ภาพยนตร์ไทย เป็นภาพยนตร์ 35 มม.สีเรื่องแรก สร้างโดย บริษัทหนุมานภาพยนตร์ จำกัด เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2497 ได้เข้าร่วมงานประกวดภาพยนตร์นานาชาติแห่งเอเชียตะวันออก ครั้งที่ 1 ที่กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ 3 รางวัล จึงนับเป็นภาพยนตร์ไทยเรื่องแรกที่ได้เข้าประกวดในงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์นานาชาติ ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ได้หายสาบสูญไปจากประเทศไทยเป็นเวลานาน จนกระทั้งได้พบฟิล์มต้นฉบับเมื่อปี 2557 ที่สถาบันภาพยนตร์อังกฤษ และฟิล์มปรินท์พบที่หอภาพยนตร์รัสเซียและหอภาพยนตร์จีน หอภาพยนตร์จึงได้ให้ แลปอนุรักษ์ภาพยนตร์ L' Immagine Ritrovata ในอิตาลีทำการบูรณะ และภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ได้ถูกนำไปจัดฉายที่เทศกาลภาพยนตร์นานานาชาติ เมืองคานส์ ในสาย Cannes Classicsในปี 2559

Santi-Vina (1954) is the first Thai feature film shot in color 35 mm and also the first Thai feature film to win international recognition. It won 3 awards from the Film Festival in Tokyo. For a long time, the original materials of Santi-Vina were considered lost. But in 2014, the original negative was discovered in the British Film Institute and release prints were also found at the China Film Archive and at the Gosfilmofond in Russia. The restoration work was carried out at L' Immagine Ritrovata film restoration laboratory in Bologna and was completed in 2016 and will be premiered in Cannes Classic 2016

Laila sets out on a road trip to Pattani, one of the three southernmost Thai provinces, to visit her long-lost aunt. Her brother and his friend are tagging along. The three take off from Bangkok during a time when the capital is going through a radical conflict. Being the city’s citizens has prevented them from realizing much about the violent outbreaks that have been occurring around Pattani for many years. Meeting a suspicious soldier sent to fight the insurgents, the four head together to find Laila’s aunt, where the route is leading them to discover a land stranger than that they are familiar with.

Vienna, 1930. Count von Kozsnom has lost his thirst for life, and his marriage cooled centuries ago. Fortunately, Sigmund Freud is accepting new patients the good doctor suggests the Count appease his vain wife by commissioning a portrait of her by his assistant, Viktor. But it's Viktor's headstrong girlfriend Lucy who most intrigues the Count, convinced she's the reincarnation of his one true love. Soon, the whole crowd is a hilarious mess of mistaken identities and misplaced affections in this send-up of the vampire genre, proving that 500 years of marriage is enough.
