Stanley Kubrick's masterful 1971 adaptation of author Anthony Burgess' dystopian masterpiece - back on the big screen, one night only at The Frida!

In future Britain, charismatic delinquent Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell in his towering, iconic performance) leads his gang of ruthless "Droogs" on a series of violent and gruesome crimes. When he is ultimately jailed, he volunteers for an experimental aversion therapy developed by the government in an effort to solve society's crime problem - but everything doesn't go according to plan.

This special screening will be presented by OC Weekly Staff Writer Matt Coker.

Jane Fonda IS Barbarella - Queen of the Galaxy! - in Roger Vadim's ultra-mod and wonderfully campy 1968 sci-fi romp, wherein the constantly-disrobing space traveler makes her way across the universe to rescue scientist Durand Durand from the evil clutches of The Great Tyrant, and encounters a handful of assorted lovers and enemies along the way.

Screening will be kicked off by "Hello Pretty Pretty: A Burlesque Tribute to Sci-Fi," curated and performed by The Frida Cinema's own "Rocky Horror" cast K.A.O.S.!
